Remove your rectifier from the heavy stock bracket located under the frame and move it where Suzuki should have put it.

Will this cause the rectifier to overheat? -
Not at all!  The 99-07 Hayabusa had the rectifier in the tail section with no problems.  Current Honda CBR1000RR's have the rectifier under the fuel tank/riders seat (with no air movement at all)  Even some GSXR's have the rectifier right behind the radiator... we all know thats not cold air coming off that.
